Living Word is a non-denominational multi-cultural fellowship of believers who share like precious faith and a passion to worship the Lord "in spirit and truth." In John 4:23, Jesus said "...now is, when the true worshippers will wordship the father in spirit and truth..." Jesus also said that God's word is truth. Therefore, in the ministry we are very non-traditional in our approach to the Word of God. We believe what the word says is 100% true and we strive to live by it.
As you become familiar with this fellowship, you will notice the passion we have for evangelism. We believe that evangelism encompasses the complete scope of the gospel mission. The gospel includes reaching out to the lost and hurting as well as developing the new believers, and teaching the truth of Jesus. The gospel mission was given to the church by Jesus himself when he told us to go into all the world and preach it to every creature (see Mark 16:15 & Matthew 28:18-20). Living Word is very unique in it's approach to fulfill this command of Jesus. this fellowship reaches past all cultural, ethnic, social, and economic lines to bring the souls of individuals into a loving relationship with the living God. We strive to bring healing and reconciliation to the races through Christian love and obedience.
